About ALC Flexible Seating

The Alternative Learning Center (ALC) is home to the three district programs-
-Indian Success Academy-(ISA) A school of choice for students who are at-risk of not graduating high school and come to work in a smaller learning environment to catch up and graduate with their cohort.
-District Alternative Educational Placement (DAEP)- a disciplinary placement program for students who have broken rules in the student code of conduct and serve a 20, 30, 45, or 60 day placement.
-Alternative Behavior Program (ABC)- A behavior class recently moved from the HS to the ALC that houses students in their least restrictive environment to focus on specific behavioral needs

Within these programs, our campus houses students that struggle with staying on task and ask them to stay on task for 6 hours a day with no flexibility. These different seating options can help productivity of students while working at DAEP. Using these various seating options, students will have the tools to help them better stay on task while serving their DAEP placement. The options will be offered an option for those in need and documented to send back to their home campus as a possible learning intervention/behavior support.

Your donation will support the learning opportunity for some of the district's most at-risk students and support their environment.
