The Santa Fe ISD Human Resources Department strives to recruit, retain, and support a world-class team of employees. We use items personalized with the SFISD logo and slogan to distribute at job fairs to attract candidates to engage with our recruiting team. We also provide new employees with an “SFISD Swag Bag” during employee onboarding as one tool to give them a warm welcome to the district. Research indicates that a warm reception leads to enhanced commitment, smooth integration, and increased job satisfaction for newcomers. The Human Resources Department Onboarding Sessions demonstrate our commitment to the success of our newly hired employees as they prepare for their new journey with SFISD. We also give Santa Fe Swag to show how excited we are that they have joined the team! We attend many job fairs to recruit new employees and find that having giveaways that are eye-catching and useful attracts more candidates who remember Santa Fe ISD. Due to the educational employee shortage, these tools are essential in attracting and keeping the type of employees that will make a difference in the lives of our students.
